Silicone oil usually refers to the linear polysiloxane products that keep liquid at room temperature. Generally, it can be divided into methyl silicone oil and modified silicone oil. The most commonly used silicone oil methyl silicone oil, also known as ordinary silicone oil, its organic groups are all methyl, methyl silicone oil has good chemical stability, insulation, good hydrophobicity. It is prepared by hydrolysis of dimethyldichlorosilane with water to obtain the primary polycondensated ring. The ring is cracked and rectified to obtain low ring. Then the ring body, capping agent and catalyst are put together to adjust and polymerize to obtain various mixtures with different polymerization degrees. The low boiling matter can be removed by vacuum distillation to obtain silicone oil.
