Adhesiveness of silicone resin

Hits: 47 img

Common silicone has methyl silicone resin, methyl phenyl silicone resin, propyl silicone resin, and so on. There are some differences in the adhesion of organic groups in different silicone resins to a certain extent. Different content of organic groups, the structure of silicone resin and so on will affect the adhesion of materials. Such as adhesive polyolefin material, containing fluorine materials, inorganic materials, metal materials, such as its chemical composition, interface structure differences, will lead to a larger bonding strength of differences, some material is easy to bond, some are more difficult to bond, some even need to introduce some special functional groups, so as to improve the interface bonding performance. In many cases, the surface of the material needs to do some special treatment, such as improving the surface of the active oxidation treatment, plasma treatment, silane coupling agent treatment, and even modifying the interface of the material. For example, the ratio of cross-linking reaction groups, catalysts and so on need to be investigated, so as to get a more reasonable binder ratio. The adhesive performance of silicone resin itself is very poor, it is necessary to add some of the appropriate viscosity additives, reinforcing materials and so on in the bonding material, when the binder group needs to pay attention to. Generally speaking, the adhesion of modified silicone modified polyester is mainly provided by polyester. The adhesiveness of silicone resin is different under different curing conditions. When configuring, it is necessary to carefully consider the curing temperature, time, pressure, etc., to find the best process conditions, otherwise it will lead to a serious decline in the bond strength of the material.
