Guo Jianping, researcher and doctoral supervisor of the State Key Laboratory of disastrous weather, Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences. Mainly engaged in boundary layer meteorology, aerosol and cloud precipitation interaction research. In 2007, he graduated from the Institute of remote sensing application, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and obtained a doctor of Science degree. He is now the project leader of the national key R & D plan "major natural disaster monitoring, early warning and prevention" key special project, and has been selected into the national "ten thousand talents plan" youth top talent plan. At present, it has published more than 130 papers included in SCI, cited more than 2800 times in SCI source journals, and h index is 31. Four papers were cited more than 100 times by SCI, and six papers were selected into the top 1% high cited papers of ESI (two papers were selected into the top 0.1% hot papers of ESI). He has won the "excellent award of dean's scholarship of Chinese Academy of Sciences" and "excellent reviewer award of jgr atmos of American Geophysical Society in 2016". Relevant achievements have been selected into "excellent papers of NSR journal in 2018" and "excellent papers of AAS journal in 2020".
From January 2010 to July 2010, he went to tunte University in the Netherlands as a senior visiting scholar. From September 2010 to may 2011, he was the sixth group of Tibetan aid cadres of the central organization department to participate in the technical assistance work in Tibet Meteorological Bureau. From 2012 to 2013, he went to the senior visiting scholar of the Department of atmospheric science and Oceanography of the University of Maryland. From June to July 2015, he was a senior visiting scholar of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory of NASA, 2015 Senior visiting scholar, Department of Geology and Planetary Science, California Institute of technology, July August, 2007. From November to December 2017, senior visiting scholar of Earth Science and Planetary Science Department of weizman University of Sciences, Israel.
