Serving agriculture with science and technology, helping poverty alleviation and Rural Revitalization
Huang'antuo village is located in Qingshui Town, Mentougou District, Beijing. It is the most remote low-income mountain village in Beijing. The main industries in the village are planting and tourism. It is the representative of agriculture in the northern mountainous areas.
In 2014, the research group established Huang'an Tuo science and technology agricultural assistance demonstration courtyard. The conditions in the mountains are hard, but as a young man in the new era, he is willing to bear hardships, and serves farmers with zero distance, threshold, time difference and cost. After six years of science and technology agriculture service, Huang'an Tuo village "got rid of the low", and was first rated as "Green Village in the capital" and "ecological civilization village in Beijing". After six years' work in the village, the members of the research group deeply realized the significance of "one understanding and two love", and became a "three rural" working team that understands agriculture, loves rural areas and loves farmers.
Establish a green and pollution-free plant protection system, and ensure the safety of the whole to promote the production: the research team found that there are backward agricultural production technology problems in huang'antuo village. Adhering to the principles of scientificity, safety and pertinence, the research group established a green pollution-free plant protection system to reduce the application of pesticides by more than 40%, achieve the green pollution-free standard of fruits, and obtain a number of organic product certification; combined with soil testing formula fertilization, the per mu yield of apples increased from 3000 Jin in 2014 to 5000 Jin, and the area of orchards expanded from 400 mu to 800 mu. This work has completely changed the traditional way of drug use, and has been recognized by the majority of farmers, not only to ensure the safety of fruit, but also to increase production and income.
Introduce modern advanced agricultural technology to agricultural production, improve quality and efficiency: the original preservation measures of orchard fruits are single, and the effect of preservation is not good. The research group introduced the international advanced physiological fruit and vegetable fresh-keeping technology independently researched and developed, which extended the sightseeing and picking period of fruits by three times, realized cross season sales and achieved good economic benefits.
To enrich the planting system, carry out diversified management and achieve common income increase: huang'antuo village was originally a village with a single economic model. Through the integration of resources, the research group introduced new varieties such as Auricularia auricula, jixinguo and Liriodendron nigrum, which enriched the planting system; carried out a variety of management and deep processing of fruits, including the production of preserved fruits, brewing fruit wine, etc.; at the same time, carried out three-dimensional agriculture and raised chickens under the forest. The above work has driven the villagers to increase their income together. The sales volume of relevant products in Beijing has reached nearly one million yuan, and the per capita annual income of the whole village has increased from more than 7000 yuan in 2014 to more than 16000 yuan.
Carry out popular science work, radiate and drive surrounding villages: in order to benefit farmers in a wider range of mountainous areas, the research group held activities of popular science and technology support for plant protection knowledge, introduced and popularized modern network services and new ideas of agricultural science and technology, promoted and improved farmers' cultural level, and solved the last kilometer problem of advanced technology and agriculture. Today, the radiation drives three villages in Qingshui Town, including two low-income villages and more than 20 low-income households.
Through the above work, we have explored a new mode that modern science and technology drive agricultural production, young students go deep into the production line, introduce advanced science and technology into the agricultural production line, and guide farmers to get rid of poverty.

The research group is mainly engaged in the research and application of pesticide raw materials, auxiliaries and preparations, which is at the leading level in China. It has successively presided over and participated in a number of national science and technology research projects and national natural fund, completed four scientific research achievements with international advanced level, and developed more than ten pesticide preparation varieties represented by Beauveria bassiana, carbaryl, thiazolin, Azadirachtin and 1-methylcyclopropene, Among them, the sales volume of single preparations of carbaryl, thiazolin and azadirachtin is over 100 million yuan. The research group actively organized and participated in the innovation and application of pesticide science and technology.
