Phenyl silicone oil is a product of partial methylation of methyl silicone oil by phenyl group, also known as methyl phenyl silicone oil. Mainly classified according to the phenyl content and the blocking group.


Its main applications:


1. Low phenyl silicone oil is especially suitable for places requiring high cold resistance;


2. The medium phenyl and high phenyl silicone oils have high thermal stability and good radiation resistance. They can be used as heat treatment baths for metal products, high temperature heating oils, gas chromatography carriers, high and low temperature lubricating oils for electronic and electrical equipment. High temperature grease for mechanical equipment such as bearings;


3. A phenyl group containing a reactive group such as a vinyl group, a hydroxyl group or a hydrogen group can be used for preparing a high temperature and radiation resistant addition-molding silicone rubber, and can also be used as an additive for a waterproofing agent, a softener or the like of a fabric;


4. Phenyl silicone oil has good compatibility with cosmetics, and can be used for cosmetic additives due to its stability to heat and ultraviolet rays;


5. It can be used as a packaging material for LEDs by virtue of its high refractive index, high light transmittance, good thermal stability and radiation resistance.
