Introduction to famous teachers
Shi wangpeng, Professor, School of plant protection, China Agricultural University, director of Entomology Department, special professor of Tianshan scholars, excellent teacher of Baosteel. At present, he is the director of the academic committee of the International Center for cross border pest control in Central Asia, the deputy director of the Key Laboratory of crop pest monitoring, early warning and green control of the Ministry of agriculture, the member of the Teaching Steering Committee of China Agricultural University, the director of China plant protection society, the director of China insect society, the member of the professional committee of China insect microbiology, and the member of China biological control Editorial board of the Journal of governance. It is mainly engaged in the research on the new theory and technology of biological control and comprehensive control of major pests, the regulation of insect pathogenic microorganisms on host behavior and biochemical molecular mechanism, the development of Chinese herbal medicine resources and the biological control of important pests, the screening and action mechanism of botanical agents, and the ecological safety evaluation of transgenic crops. He presided over more than 30 projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation, the national science and technology support plan, and the national major special project of genetically modified crops. He has successively worked in the international research center of insect physiology and ecology, Pennsylvania State University and biological control center of the United States Department of agriculture. He has published more than 70 academic papers, 3 monographs and more than 50 postdoctoral, doctoral and master's degree students, including PNAS.
