Profile of Professor Luo Yunbo
Luo Yunbo, Professor, School of food science and nutrition engineering, China Agricultural University. From 1999 to 2015, Professor Luo served as the dean of the college for four consecutive times.
Dr. Luo Yunbo is a leading food science expert in China. His research mainly involves food safety and food nutrition. At present, he focuses on biotechnology, genetically modified detection and safety evaluation of genetically modified food. Dr. Luo's academic achievements have been widely recognized, and he has published more than 160 academic reviews and researches. In addition, he edited four food safety textbooks and was a member of the food safety expert group of the Beijing Olympic Games.
Dr. Luo Yunbo also has many social responsibilities. He is vice president of China Food Science and technology society, academician of International Academy of Food Sciences (IUFoST), member of national agricultural genetically modified organisms safety committee, editor in chief of China food journal, member of Expert Committee of food safety committee of the State Council and member of China food safety 30 person forum.
