1、 College profile
Binjiang College of Nanjing University of information engineering was founded in 2002. It is an independent college approved by the Ministry of education and jointly organized by Nanjing University of information engineering and Nanjing University of information engineering education development foundation. Nanjing University of information engineering is a national "double first-class" University and a high-level construction university in Jiangsu Province. The sustained, rapid and high-quality development of Nanjing University of information engineering provides a strong support for the development of Binjiang University.
The new campus is located at No. 333, Xishan Avenue, Wuxi City, adjacent to the core area of Xidong new city, only 1km away from Wuxi East high speed railway station and Metro Line 2, with superior geographical location and beautiful scenery. The new campus covers a total area of 1101 Mu and a total building area of 306500 square meters. It is a modern smart campus, ecological campus, cultural campus and low-carbon campus. At present, the college has nearly 10000 students, including 269 graduate students and 312 international students.
The college meets the needs of local economic and social development, and has established Wuxi Research Institute and Wuxi Graduate School of Nanxin University. It has 11 secondary schools, including the school of Internet of things engineering, the school of electronic information engineering, the school of automation, the school of rail transit, the school of environment and bioengineering, the school of atmosphere and remote sensing, the school of science, the school of business, the school of humanities, law and administration, the school of media and art, and the school of international education Class a college, 40 undergraduate majors, covering seven disciplines such as science, engineering, literature, management, economics, law and art. The college attaches great importance to the construction of teaching staff, with 595 full-time teachers, including 270 teachers with senior titles, accounting for 45.4%, and the doctoral rate of 42% (more than 80% of professional teachers have senior titles or doctoral degrees). Among the full-time teachers, there are 63 high-level talents, such as national special experts, provincial special professors, provincial "333" high-level talents, provincial "Blue Project" young and middle-aged academic leaders, and provincial doctor of mass entrepreneurship and innovation.
The college continued to deepen the integration of production and education, built more than 100 practice and training bases, and signed talent training cooperation agreements with more than 30 large enterprises and institutions in Wuxi City. 2、 Admission
1. Receiving institution: Binjiang College of Nanjing University of Information Engineering
2. Charging standard: 14000 yuan / year / person for Humanities and Social Sciences, 15000 yuan / year / person for science and engineering, and 1500 yuan / year / person for accommodation.
3. Admission method: under the supervision of Jiangsu Provincial Education and examination institute, in accordance with the principle of "fair, just and open" admission, distance online admission is implemented. In Jiangsu Province Education Examination Institute stipulated the proportion of the file, the candidates who enter the file are admitted from high score to low score. After the approval of Jiangsu Provincial Department of education, the "admission notice" will be issued to the recommendation school, and the recommendation school will send the admission notice to the admitted candidates. Candidates who do not meet the requirements of our college for majors and basic courses may not be admitted.
4. Physical examination requirements: the requirements for the physical condition of candidates shall be implemented in accordance with the guiding opinions on physical examination for enrollment of general colleges and universities. Students need to have a physical examination after entering school, and those with abnormal physical examination shall be handled according to relevant regulations.
5. Other matters: selection object, application qualification, application place, time, examination subject and time shall be uniformly arranged and implemented by Jiangsu Provincial Department of education.
3、 Student development
1. Training mode: the students who transfer from special to basic are transferred to the third year of undergraduate course in a unified way, and the classes are arranged separately according to the major.
2. Student status management: for the "special transfer" students admitted by our college, the school recommended by the students shall be responsible for handling the transfer out procedures and providing the students' files and other relevant materials; the students shall go to our college to handle the enrollment procedures on time with the admission notice and the junior college diploma and other materials, and the "special transfer" students who have not obtained the junior college diploma shall not go through the enrollment procedures and student registration. Students who have changed their major into a new one are not allowed to change their major or study.
3. Diploma issuance: according to the relevant documents of the Ministry of education and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of education, the "special transfer" students will enjoy the treatment of other undergraduates of Binjiang College of Nanjing University of information technology after entering the University. After completing all courses specified in the teaching plan and passing the examination, the students will be awarded the graduation certificate of Binjiang College of Nanjing University of information technology; those who meet the requirements for bachelor's degree will be awarded Nanjing Information Technology Co., Ltd Bachelor's degree certificate of Binjiang University of engineering. The contents of the graduation certificate and degree certificate of the "special transfer" students shall be filled in according to the state regulations.
4. Employment policy: the employment policy for undergraduate graduates shall be implemented when the "special to basic" students graduate.
