The second postgraduate electronic design competition of Nanjing University of information engineering is a school wide event sponsored by the graduate work department and graduate school and organized by the school of electronics and information engineering. The purpose is to select outstanding students and recommend their works to participate in the 15th China graduate electronic design competition.
1、 Participants
The officially registered master's and doctor's degree students in the University have obtained the admission qualification of graduate students of Nanjing University of information engineering.
2、 Entry method
Each team is composed of instructor, team leader and team members. In the technical competition or business plan competition, there are 1 or 2 instructors, 1 team leader and no more than 2 members. Each instructor can guide at most two teams, and each team member can only join one team. Before the deadline for application and submission of works, all participating teams are requested to package and submit the application form (Annex I) and the report to the official email (dzjs2020 @ 126. Com) with the subject of [technical competition / business plan special competition + team name + entry direction number + project name], such as [technical competition + Intelligent Team + 6+ Smart car based on XXX].

4、 Competition content
The competition is divided into two parts: the technical competition and the business plan competition. The two parts of the competition are independent of each other, and the team formation, application, evaluation and reward work are carried out separately without mutual influence. The technical competition and business plan are divided into seven directions. The teams can choose their own directions:
1. Circuit and embedded system, including but not limited to electronic circuit software and hardware design, terminal equipment or embedded system implementation with strong innovation and creativity for a functional application, such as software and hardware system, intelligent hardware, new RF antenna, parallel processing system, instrument and meter developed based on FPGA, DSP, CPU, embedded system, etc.
2. Electromechanical control and intelligent manufacturing, including but not limited to innovative creative communication network application modules or systems for automatic control and independent operation, such as network security, wireless communication, optical fiber communication, Internet, Internet of things, space information network, underwater communication network, industrial control network, edge computing and other communication or network equipment, systems or software, etc.
3. Communication and network technology, including but not limited to innovative and creative network application software or system based on various communication and network technology research and development, such as network security, Internet of things, wireless network, industrial Internet and other communication or network equipment, system or software.
4. Information sensing system and application, including but not limited to the design and implementation of sensing and information acquisition software and hardware systems such as photoelectric sensing, sensor, micro nano sensor and micro electromechanical system, space detection, etc., such as industrial sensing, biological sensing, ecological environment sensing, photoelectric detection, remote sensing detection, positioning navigation and other systems.
5. Signal and information processing technology and system, including but not limited to video, image, voice, text, spectrum signal processing and information processing, feature recognition, and software and hardware systems for signal detection and confrontation, such as security monitoring, audio and video coding and decoding, network text search and processing, radar signal processing, information confrontation system, etc.
6. Artificial intelligence, including but not limited to software and hardware systems or intelligent applications of natural language processing, machine vision, deep learning, machine learning, big data processing, group intelligence, decision management and other technologies, such as: intelligent robot, intelligent city, intelligent medical treatment, intelligent security, automatic driving, intelligent home, intelligent weather, etc.
7. Technology exploration and interdisciplinary disciplines, including but not limited to new electronic information software and hardware systems based on new materials, new devices, new processes, new designs, etc., such as new sensors, electronic circuits, processors, communication network equipment, information processors and application systems for life health, art creation, environmental ecology, clean energy, etc.
5、 Selection criteria and award setting
1. The competition is divided into two stages, each of which accounts for 50% of the final score. The first stage is the screening of technical papers or business plans of the entries. Each application team must submit the corresponding technical papers or business plans of the entries before May 20, 2020, and the judges will score them. The second stage is on-site defense. Each application team will go to the designated place to participate in the defense on June 1, 2020 (tentative), and the judges will score.
2. According to the number and level of entries, the award level will be established, and the winning team will be awarded the certificate and bonus by the school:
First prize: 2000 yuan
Second prize: 1000 yuan
Third prize: 500 yuan
3. In the winning works, we will choose the best to participate in the 15th China graduate electronic design competition. For postgraduates to participate in the competition, according to the regulations of management measures for postgraduate discipline competition of Nanjing University of Information Engineering (Revised) (jgf [2018] No. 10), in addition to the awards given by the competition organizers, the university will also give certain awards to the postgraduates who have won awards in the electronic design competition of Chinese postgraduates, and the awarded postgraduates will apply to the graduate work department for accounting and distribution. The teams who won the first prize, the second prize and the third prize in the national competition will be rewarded with 5000 yuan, 4000 yuan and 3000 yuan respectively. The team members who have won the first prize, the first prize and the second prize in the national competition can be converted into corresponding scientific research achievements in the requirements for awarding scientific research achievements and the awards and awards carried out by the University. The conversion of papers is limited to the top three participants in the award certificate. At the same time, postgraduates who have won awards in national, provincial and University competitions can directly apply for credits of relevant practical courses, and the credit application shall be recognized by the college where the students belong.
6、 Work requirements
1. Technical competition
The contents of the technical paper include but are not limited to the following:

(3) Principle analysis and circuit diagram
(4) Software design and process
(5) System test and error analysis
(6) Summary.
Different types of works can be adjusted according to the actual situation. The number of words in the paper is 8000-10000. For the specific format requirements, please refer to the technical paper format requirements of graduate electronic design competition of Nanjing University of Information Engineering (Annex II).
Ppt content of technical competition shall include three parts: work principle and innovation, structure introduction and function demonstration. If there are project structure model, design drawing, schematic diagram, three-dimensional animation, research paper, etc., they can be submitted together with the design specification as attachments.
2. Business plan competition
The proposal of business plan includes but is not limited to the following:

(4) Industry and market situation
(5) Marketing strategy
(6) Financing description
(7) Financial plan
(8) Risk control
(9) Difficulty in project implementation.

The PPT content of the introduction to the works of the business plan competition shall include:

(2) Work principle and design scheme
(3) Works image and function simulation.
