Application of organic silicon materials in 5G communication

Organic silicon refers to compounds containing Si-C bonds and at least one organic group is connected to the silicon atom. It is customary to use compounds that connect organic groups with silicon atoms through oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen, etc. as organic silicon compounds. Among them, polysiloxanes with a silicon-oxygen bond (-Si-O-Si-) as the skeleton are among the most organosilicon compounds, and the most widely used one, accounting for 90% of the total amount.
At present, there are many organic silicon products with more than 10,000 varieties and brands, which are mainly divided into four categories: silicone rubber, silicone oil and secondary processed products, silicone resins and silane coupling agents. Because of its small direct dosage but wide range of uses, it is called industrial MSG, a catalyst for technological development.
Organic silicon materials have excellent high and low temperature resistance, electrical insulation, ozone resistance, radiation resistance, humidity resistance, vibration resistance, compression resistance, good thermal conductivity, non-toxic, non-corrosive, and physiological inertia. They are widely used in the communication field.
Mobile phones, laptops and other terminals: used for sealing and protecting sensitive circuits of terminal equipment, as adhesive fixing parts, such as the bonding of mobile phone frames, moisture-proof sealing of chips, heat dissipation of processors, etc .;
(1) Communication power supply: sealing and cooling of communication power supply components, dust and water resistance;
(2) BBU: silicon materials such as thermal grease and thermal pads are used for heat dissipation and protection of the chip;
(3) RRU: silicon materials such as thermal grease and thermal pads are used for heat dissipation and protection of base station power (RF) amplifiers;
(4) Antenna: potting compound and coatings are used for the protection of antenna lightning arresters and frequency modulators, and the conductive silicone is resistant to electromagnetic interference and heat dissipation;
(5) PCB: Silicone paint is used as a thin layer protective material for circuit boards, and the components are sealed and protected against moisture and dust.
In general, silicone materials can be used in communication for heat dissipation, electromagnetic shielding, bonding and fixing, and sealing protection.
