01 Application in the field of heat resistance
POSS has a significant effect on improving the heat resistance of the matrix through cross-linking modification or nanocomposite. Studies have shown that using POSS as a cross-linking agent to modify polymers such as epoxy resin, polyurethane, polyamide-imide and fluoroolefin vinyl ether resin respectively can significantly improve the heat resistance of the polymer matrix. Through nano-hybrid composite method, POSS can improve the heat resistance of materials such as nanocellulose, heat-resistant resin, polydimethylsiloxane and phenolic resin to a certain extent.
