Its practical temperature range spans from -35 °C to +200 °C, assuming operation under "chemically pure" conditions. However, it's crucial to note that even minute traces of acids, alkalis, mineral oils, organometallic compounds, metal salts, or oxides can significantly compromise its service life. Additionally, heat-stressing may alter the fluid's flash point, necessitating annual flash point checks in open systems, with more frequent monitoring under demanding operating conditions.
