IOTA556 can be used in a multitude of ways within the cosmetics industry. As a water-repellent additive, it reduces the tackiness and stickiness of organic ingredients in formulations such as skin lotions, creams, suntan lotions, sprays, and pre-shave lotions. Additionally, it serves as a hair gloss agent in hair sprays, conditioners, and grooming aids, enhancing the appearance and manageability of hair. The product is easy to emulsify with standard emulsifiers using common techniques and is extremely soluble in 95% ethanol at room temperature, with up to 50% by weight dissolving at temperatures as low as 4℃. IOTA556 is packaged in 25kg and 200kg drums and should be stored at or below 25℃ in an unopened container, with a shelf life of 30 months.
