IOTA 3108 RTV Phenyl Silicone Gum, also known as α,ω Dihydroxy-Polydimethyl Diphenyl Siloxane or Phenyl Silicone Rubber Gum, is a versatile material with a unique molecular formula of (CH3)2SiOH[(C6H5)2SiO]m[(CH3)2SiO]nOH. This room temperature vulcanized (RTV) silicone gum boasts a colorless transparent oily liquid appearance and exhibits excellent solubility in various organic solvents such as toluene, xylene, and chlorinated hydrocarbons. With a viscosity range of 2000-100000 mPa·s at 25°C, it offers a phenyl content between 2.5-60.0 mol% and a volatile content not exceeding 5.0% when tested at 150°C for 2 hours.
