IOTA2000 can serve as a spray modifier, foliar absorption adjuvant, and activator. It is applicable to herbicides, foliar nutrients, growth regulators, and insecticides. It does not decompose the original pesticide, significantly enhancing the wetting, adhesion, and spreading ability of the pesticide solution on the plant or pest surface, thereby improving the pesticide's efficacy. Moreover, it has lower phytotoxicity compared to ordinary fatty amines and ethoxy alcohols.
Using IOTA2000 is very convenient. It can be directly added to the pesticide formulation or used as a tank - mix adjuvant for on - the - spot mixing. When used as a tank - mix adjuvant, the dosage is between 0.02 - 0.04% (i.e., adding 3 - 6 grams of IOTA2000 penetrant to a 15 - kilogram sprayer). In pesticide formulations, the dosage ranges from 0.5 - 5%.
