IOTA 255 Phenyl Silicone Oil is a specially modified product developed to solve such pain points in practical scenarios. Centered on the molecular structure design with high phenyl content, it shows noticeable improvement in temperature resistance performance compared with ordinary phenyl silicone oil. It can maintain a stable liquid state within the temperature range from -70℃ to 320℃, without problems such as solidification, sharp viscosity rise, thermal decomposition or performance attenuation.
From the perspective of basic appearance, this product presents as a colorless or light yellow transparent liquid without excess impurity precipitation, which can adapt to various industrial systems that have strict requirements for medium cleanliness. Its kinematic viscosity at 25℃ can be adjusted within the range of 50cst to 1000cst. Products with different viscosity specifications can adapt to the usage requirements of different scenarios such as precision instrument damping, large-scale equipment lubrication and closed system heat conduction respectively. Users can select the corresponding viscosity model according to the parameter requirements of their own working conditions. The relative density at 25℃ falls in the range of 1.02 to 1.10, which shows good compatibility with most industrial sealing materials, and will not cause obvious swelling or corrosion effects on sealing parts during long-term contact. Its open cup flash point is not lower than 320℃, which greatly reduces the risk of flash fire when operating in high temperature environments, and provides more guarantees for the operation safety at the production site. Its solidification point is not higher than -70℃, so it can maintain good fluidity even in outdoor low-temperature operations at high latitudes and supporting equipment operation in deep cold environments, and will not cause pipeline blockage or equipment jamming due to medium solidification. The refractive index at 25℃ ranges from 1.4600 to 1.5150. The uniform molecular composition keeps the optical related performance of the product stable, and it can also play a role in some scenarios that require certain light transmittance.
