China Agricultural University Committee held Miyun social service kick off meeting

During the period of epidemic prevention and control, the supply of agricultural products in Miyun base of Jiusan Society not only solved the problem of "difficult to eat vegetables" for teachers of Agricultural University, but also made a deep impression on everyone with its excellent quality and unique taste, which also won the favor of consumers. Facing the current situation of rich rural local products and fierce market competition, how to standardize management, stabilize product quality and increase product core competitiveness is an urgent problem for enterprises, and also the top priority of Miyun social service work of China Agricultural University Committee of Jiusan Society in the future.
Therefore, in early 2020, under the guidance of Gao Zhenjiang, executive vice director of the Central Committee of agriculture and forestry of Jiusan Society and professor of the school of technology of China Agricultural University, the second branch of China Agricultural University Committee of Jiusan Society organized members of relevant specialties to set up a "Miyun social service working group" and prepared relevant materials during winter vacation. On March 28, 2020, the working group coordinated the leaders of Miyun Branch of Jiusan Society, Miyun "vegetable Park" (xishaoqu Village) and "yuanweipeng" (jiaojiawu Village) production bases, held the first online video conference to discuss the establishment of relevant standards for agricultural products, the standardized management of production process and a series of work arrangements. The meeting was presided over by Jing Ling, a professor of the school of science, China Agricultural University and the Second Committee of the society of 93.
First of all, Gao Zhenjiang made a popular science report entitled "quality, brand and standard of agricultural products". From the content, legal guidance documents, basic requirements, technical requirements, methods and approaches of the existing standards for agricultural products in China, the report expounds in simple terms the importance of establishing standards for agricultural products, how to establish standards, and the internal relationship between standard construction and brand construction, market competition, etc., which benefits us a lot. In particular, under the guidance of diversified demand market economy, it is worth thinking about how to give full play to the advantages of varieties, how to embody the characteristics of products, and how to make features, standards and brands.
During the discussion, participants expressed their opinions on the standardization of brand cultivation, especially on the production and management of geographical indication agricultural products. Jing Ling talks about the purpose and significance of establishing enterprise standards. Ling Gang, vice chairman of Agricultural University Committee and associate professor of School of technology of China Agricultural University, shares her own thoughts on the setting and contents of indicators in the standards, as well as the arrangement and implementation of Miyun social service. Wu Guangfeng, a member of the three branches and associate professor of the school of food, believes that any product should start with sensory quality and land on nutritional quality, and strive to promote the construction of nutrition oriented technology innovation and nutritional standards. Zhang Jiansheng, member of Erzhi society and associate professor of School of economics and management, discussed the relationship among standards, quality and brand from the perspective of market. Standards are the basis of quality, quality is the result of standards, and the overall effect of standards, quality and brand should be better exerted. Liang Zongmin, vice chairman of Erzhi society, stressed that in addition to establishing standards for related products, we should also attach importance to the use of Internet of things technology and process traceability, so that consumers can understand the production process, eat clearly and rest assured.
Wang Shangyong, the chairman of Miyun Branch of Jiu San Society, reported to you the relevant testing situation of Miyun "original taste shed" base, and said that he would make use of the resource advantages of Miyun to coordinate the relevant personnel of the base to do a good job.
