1、 College profile
Nanjing University of information engineering is a national "double first-class" construction university and a key supporting University for the construction of Jiangsu high-level university. The school of Applied Meteorology has two second-class doctoral degree authorization points, i.e. Applied Meteorology and environmental ecology; a post doctoral research flow station of Applied Meteorology; three academic master degree authorization points, i.e. applied meteorology, ecology, agricultural resources and environment; and two professional master degree authorization points, i.e. agriculture, resources and environment. At present, the college has 81 full-time teachers, including 28 professors and 28 associate professors, and 31 high-level talents such as "National Outstanding Youth" and "thousand talents plan" of the central organization department. With first-class teaching software and hardware conditions, the college has many national and provincial disciplines and scientific research platforms, such as "Applied Meteorology" with national characteristics, Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of agricultural meteorology, etc.
2、 Reallocation application requirements
1. In line with the regulations of Nanjing University of information technology in 2020 master's enrollment guidelines, the preliminary test scores reach the second test score line of class a candidates in 2020 national master's entrance examination, and meet the requirements of the adjustment policy of the Ministry of education.
2. Master of Ecology: the application type must be academic, and the first examination subject includes mathematics. To receive candidates of ecology, biology, environment, geoscience, applied meteorology and other related science and engineering majors.
3. Master of Agriculture: this master's program is to train master of agriculture students in the field of agricultural engineering and information technology. Relying on the specialty of Applied Meteorology and with the characteristics of meteorology, the degree center aims to cultivate agricultural informatization professionals with solid theoretical knowledge and service skills of Agrometeorology for meteorological departments, agricultural departments and relevant enterprises and institutions. This major enrolls both full-time and part-time postgraduate students. This master's degree center accepts candidates for meteorological, agronomy, agricultural resources and environment, ecology, geography, environmental science and engineering, remote sensing and other majors. The candidates for this major are academic or professional. This major accepts full-time and part-time candidates, and candidates with the same academic ability.
4. Master of resources and environment: relying on the major of Applied Meteorology, this degree center cultivates master's degree in meteorological engineering for meteorological departments and relevant enterprises and institutions. Candidates for meteorological (meteorology, applied meteorology), agricultural resources and environment, ecology, geography, environmental science and engineering, etc. will be accepted. Candidates of academic or professional type will not be accepted for this major.
If the above requirements are met, candidates with the following conditions are preferred:
1) Provincial and above awards of Challenge Cup Undergraduate Academic (innovation and Entrepreneurship) competition;
2) the national "Internet plus" College Students' innovation and entrepreneurship competition awards at provincial level or above;
3) Provincial and above awards of national mathematical modeling competition for college students;
4) National Undergraduate Electronic Design Competition (including special Invitational Competition) provincial and above awards;
5) Obtain authorized invention patents or publish papers in the latest edition of Peking University core and above journals;
6) Other recognized awards at or above the provincial level.
