It has been half a month since the postgraduate entrance examination results came out. I believe that everyone has started a new journey, but there will be some confusion. So today, combined with my own experience, I would like to share with you the experience about the adjustment of postgraduate entrance examination, hoping to help you who are preparing for the adjustment.
Last year's postgraduate entrance examination experience is more bumpy, I applied for a voluntary examination of southeast landscape architecture. After the results of the first test came out, they stepped in the second test, but finally failed to go ashore, so they transferred to the school of horticulture, China Agricultural University. Generally speaking, it is also a semi-circular result.
I will briefly talk about my feelings from the two aspects of adjustment selection and adjustment process:

Dispensing selection
Be clear about what you want
Many people ask if they want to adjust? I think the most important thing is to be clear about what you want. I drew a simple axis, and everyone's scores were divided into three score segments: steady progress, wandering on the edge, unable to pass
In addition to 100% of the students who have made steady progress in the re examination, the remaining two categories are faced with the forced choice of World War II, work, adjustment and going abroad.
▎ for the latter two types of students, you should now think about what you were taking the postgraduate entrance examination for at the beginning?
If you identify the southeast, then we suggest that you can choose World War II! Because as long as the goal is clear, it is quite normal for the southeast to go ashore in World War II;
If you take the postgraduate entrance examination is also an attempt, you can choose to find a job, because three years of work experience is no worse than three years of graduate students;
If you still miss the graduate students of this major, other schools can also accept it. If you focus on the diploma and are not so picky about the school, you can choose to adjust.
Let's talk about my psychological state at that time. At that time, I chose to adjust, because I didn't want to spend the time of World War II, and I was afraid that I was not firm enough in World War II. Another reason was the influence of the surrounding environment. There were not many students in World War II after the failure of postgraduate entrance examination, and everyone would choose to work to practice. In fact, the purpose of postgraduate entrance examination was to work better.
For example, last year, one of my classmates received both the admission notice from the school and the offer from a good company. She chose the latter. For this example, I want to tell you that all roads lead to Rome, and there is no absolute choice!
The goal of postgraduate entrance examination is very single, but at this stage, we have to think about how to go in the future? For the students who have about 370 points in this year's test and rank on the edge of the retest line, they need to consider both retest and adjustment. The students who are on the top of the edge focus on the process of retest and try to understand the adjustment. The students who are on the bottom of the edge should not give up completely preparing for the retest. My performance last year was lower than the edge. I thought it would be out of the question at that time, but I still stepped on the line and entered the retest. This is very important, so do not give up easily before the score line comes out!

01: coordination ≈ information war
First of all, the overall situation of the adjustment is not very optimistic. In the case of short supply of coordination opportunities, we need excellent and sufficient psychological preparation. Coordination is a huge information war, involving a wide range of information, rapid change of information, information acquisition is more complex than the period of postgraduate entrance examination, and the principle of first come, first served coordination requires that everyone must be at the forefront. So if you can, it is necessary to mobilize your family and friends to help collect and pay attention to information.
02: retest process
Here is a simple overall flow chart of the postgraduate entrance examination. You can take a section of the chart to grasp the overall nodes, which will be explained in detail later. Last year, I took the most complicated road marked by the blue arrow. The next picture is the timeline of my own retest + adjustment and what I did in each time period.
The whole process of adjustment is about one and a half months. In the early stage, we focus on obtaining the adjustment information. From the late stage to the end of March, we should not only prepare for the southeast retest, but also pay attention to contacting the adjustment school. Especially, the opening of the adjustment system is just the stage of preparing for the southeast retest. Sometimes we can't do our best, but we still stick to it.
▌ you should pay attention to several important time nodes related to coordination.
First of all, the national line will be announced. As long as the national line is crossed, there will be a chance to adjust. Then, at the end of February and the beginning of March, some schools will successively issue a notice of adjustment, and some schools will carry out pre adjustment before the official adjustment (pre adjustment needs to be paid great attention to); in the late March, the adjustment system will be launched, and enter the final sprint stage.
The students who take part in the second round examination and adjustment must do the preparatory work at the front to prevent the back from being in a hurry. Simply mentioned, due to the special situation of the epidemic this year, the time point may be adjusted, and we always pay attention to relevant information!
Next, I will take my personal experience as an example to introduce the process of mediation in stages.
The first stage is from the middle of February to the beginning of March, that is, the period from now to the time before the pre adjustment. The main task is to find suitable schools and majors for the adjustment.
● five objective conditions:
First of all, we can simply understand the five possibilities of recruitment and adjustment of objective schools:
The most common is that the school wind park professional ranking is relatively low, a volunteer dissatisfied with their own recruitment. The threshold of such schools is low, and the time to release the adjustment is early. For example, Beijing Agricultural College released the information on the 20th of this year. All students who want to adjust can have a look.
The second is to leave opportunities for high-quality adjustment students, such as Xi'an University of architecture and technology, for several years in a row. However, students with high requirements and relatively high scores can pay attention to it.
The third one is affiliated to other majors such as architecture. For example, Huaqiao University has a high ranking in architecture and landscape architecture.
The fourth is that a large number of talents need to be transferred when the major is just starting. For example, Guangzhou University can also focus on this year.
The fifth one is also a special one, that is, the candidates with low score and one volunteer are not employed to find resources for adjustment. Generally, the time is after the completion of the second round examination of one volunteer, such as last year's China Agricultural University. So when the dispensing system is open, we must pay attention to it.
● three subjective factors:
After understanding the objective factors, the following three subjective factors need to be considered:
1、 On the transfer back to our school
Last year, we confirmed with our teachers that our school does not accept or accept incomplete adjustment. But last year, I got in touch with a teacher of our school. He said that he could let me practice in his studio, and then take part in the examination of our school in World War II. Later, he didn't take this road. In fact, this is also a choice, you can also consider. Go and check with the teacher in charge of the research and recruitment.
2、 About full-time and part-time transfer
In fact, Zhejiang agricultural and Forestry University and Tianjin University have not fully adjusted their recruitment last year. The non-full of such a good school still has a certain amount of gold, and the social recognition of the non-full is also slowly increasing. In some schools, part-time and full-time classes are almost the same, but some schools have different treatment for full-time and part-time scholarships, so the direction of part-time can be considered but not recommended.
3、 We can focus on schools that can be transferred to related majors
For example, forestry in Beilin and horticulture in middle peasants are rare. Last year, I asked several schools that they would not accept cross professional adjustment.

After understanding the subjective and objective factors, I have roughly listed three echelon colleges for your reference according to the professional ranking of colleges and universities, and you can also pay attention to those not listed. At that time, I looked at most of the institutions with master degree programs in Fengyuan (big guy institutions also paid attention to it). According to the notice of adjustment on their official website, those without adjustment in the past two years will be eliminated, leaving possible institutions. At that time, I focused on Xijian University, Shanjian University, Beijian University, Zhejiang agriculture and forestry, Fujian agriculture and forestry, overseas Chinese, Guangzhou and Changjiang University.
Let's teach you a method. You can create a new word document, and arrange the schools that may be transferred according to the intention degree. Go to the graduate enrollment network of the school in order to check whether there are places for adjustment, adjustment majors, adjustment conditions, release time of adjustment notice in previous years, telephone number of the research and recruitment office, etc. you can also go to the research and recruitment help, research and recruitment network and other platforms to query.
I remember that the system has the function of searching schools directly to check the adjustment, but it should be noted that if there is no adjustment notice in previous years, it may not be this year. There is also a point that, according to the regulations of the 19-year research and Enrollment Office, the scores of all schools are ranked together, so high score and undergraduate schools have advantages, but they are not absolute, and low score candidates should not give up.
[2: contact specific tutors]
With a general intention of the school, you can start to contact the school purposefully. Before contacting, first of all, I'd like to know about each tutor. I'll check some articles on the Internet and learn about the research direction. Next, we will start to find the contact information of the intended tutor. The website design of each school is different. It is possible to find it on the graduate enrollment network of the college or the research and recruitment network of the school. If you can't find it, you can find it in the HowNet paper, and the contact information of the corresponding author will be marked, usually in the mail box.
Mention the details that should be paid attention to when writing e-mail. The e-mail must use official e-mail, such as Netease e-mail. Try not to use QQ e-mail. The e-mail ID is best to write your own name or Pinyin. The main body of the email must be written with your own interest in the research direction of the teacher, and the attachment must be attached with your R é sum é, recommend the web version of the super R é sum é, and clearly write your preliminary test results.
The purpose of contacting the tutor in the early stage is not to know whether it can be adjusted. The main purpose is to let the teacher get familiar with you, get familiar with you, and prepare for the future. So the mentality should be put in place. Last year, I contacted a teacher of Xijian University. She replied that she would contact me again if she had the opportunity. If the teacher replied to you, you can also ask if the teacher can find the opportunity to talk in detail face-to-face. In this year's special situation of the epidemic, you can try to talk online. It should be noted here that you can contact the tutors of multiple institutions, but do not contact multiple tutors of one institution at the same time. You can only contact another tutor of this institution after one tutor explicitly refuses you, which is a matter of principle.
[3: ask for the quota of coordination]
The next step is to find the right time to ask the Institute's research and recruitment office if there may be any adjustment quota. Now we can do it, but it is usually after the Enrollment Office starts work, the Enrollment Office will be more clear about the quota. Make sure to call during working hours. Don't be afraid to call. You may be rejected if you don't, but there must be no chance!!!
In the second stage, by the end of February and the beginning of March (take 19 years as an example), schools began to issue official information on the adjustment. For such schools that have long been prepared for adjustment, there will be a pre adjustment stage before the formal adjustment system is opened. This stage is very important! The main purpose of this kind of school's pre adjustment
